So… the name…
Yeah, it’s a weird one. As its owner I’m still not 100% sure I’m pronouncing it right, but my best guess is: “Shi-Von Mick-Null-Tee”
Anyways, about me:
Siobhan McNulty was born and raised in Chicago, Il to two accountants (yeah, the theatre thing really came out of nowhere).
Always wanting to tell a good story, Siobhan founded the newspaper at her small Catholic middle school. This is also where she started developing her interest in performing and in organizing charity events with her Girl Scout troop.
Siobhan’s interest in community outreach extended into her time at Jones College Prep, where she was part of the pre-law program. In her senior year, Siobhan was an intern at Catholic Charities’ legal department, assisting attorneys in serving clients from underserved communities.
Siobhan spent much of her teen years performing in plays and musicals at Infinity Arts Academy. This is where she really saw the healing power of theatre and decided she wanted to spend her life using theatre for positive change.
Siobhan currently studies Musical Theatre at North Central College, where she has studied Musical Theatre, Acting, Vocal Performance and Theatrical Design. Siobhan is a member of Concert Choir, Untitled! (Experimental Theatre group) and Opera Workshop.
She has also engaged in extensive training as a young artist with International Lyric Academy, Varna International, Berlin Opera Academy and Operaworks.
Siobhan loves trying new things, and continues to explore new styles as a vocalist, actor, writer and theatrical designer.
