"I Can Cook, Too" from On the Town

Performed at International Lyric Academy's 2024 Musical Theatre Showcase 2 (dir Amy Toruño)

Performed by Siobhan McNulty and Kyle Widener

Accompanied by David Fiorello

Siobhan's first love is Musical Theatre. She has had the pleasure of performing at Beverly Arts Center, Meily-Swallow and Madden Theatre (North Central College), Curtain Call Theatre and The Thrust at Stage 773. Due to her extensive comedic training, Siobhan has played a lot of larger-than-life characters, but she loves finding the humanity and nuance in every role she plays.
Siobhan's skill for timbre manipulation has led her to sing in just about every genre under the sun and she is always up for trying something new.
Some of Siobhan's favorite previous roles include Officer Lockstock in Urinetown, Logainne SchwarzandGrubenierre and Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and A Voice in Next to Normal.
In July 2024, Siobhan traveled with the International Lyric Academy and performed in their production of Les Miserables in Vicenza, Italy. Siobhan played the conniving Factory Girl alongside Felipe Bombonato as Jean Val Jean. This production featured a 46-member ensemble cast and 19-piece orchestra, directed by David Fiorello.
Fiorello also was the music director for the Musical Theatre Showcase directed by Amy Toruño, where Siobhan "brought the house down" with her rendition of "I Can Cook, Too" from On the Town (the penultimate number of the performance).
Siobhan can be seen this November on Meily-Swallow Stage at North Central College in Heathers: the Musical! Siobhan will be playing the kind-hearted Martha Dunstock in Nathan Dittemore's highly anticipated production.
