Siobhan McNulty is a versatile soprano known for her "stratospheric vocal range" and "Charming stage presence," consistently utilizing her powerful voice with ease in the realms of Art Song, Pop Music, Musical Theatre, Operetta and Opera.
Siobhan has been classically trained since she was 15 and has had the pleasure of studying under Tenor Val Kuznetsov, Mezzo-Soprano Jennifer Barrett, and Soprano Victoria VerHoven.
Siobhan has sung the complete roles of Taumännchen in Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel and Mercury in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld. She has also performed scenes as Adele in Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus and Fiordiligi in Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte, and has covered Mabel in Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance.
Siobhan has a wide range, usually specializing in Soubrette and Lyric Coloratura repertoire, but has begun to explore some heavier lyric repertoire as her voice develops. In the next few years she is aiming to learn a diverse selection of new roles such as the Heroines in Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Despina in Cosi fan Tutte, Musetta in La Boheme, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Monica in The Medium.
Siobhan has previously trained at Berlin Opera Academy, Varna International in South Carolina and with Operaworks in Chicago.
She has participated in a variety of coachings and masterclasses with the likes of Dr. Jolene Flory, David Crawford, Janet Hopkins, Dr. Errik Hood, Amy Shoremount-Obra, Rami Sarrieddine, Calio Alonso, Katrine Hilbe, Dominic Barberi, Ann Baltz, Laura Parker, Eli Villanueva and Rachelle Tsachor.
Siobhan plans to perform in North Central College's Opera Workshop Showcase in April 2025.
